- Spicy flavored initially but then subtly sweet
- Unique purple striping
- Large and long cloves
Plants are very productive and produce large cloves. Although it’s an Asiatic garlic, it can handle a wide variety of winters from partially dry to more went. Best planted in fall and harvested approximately 240 days after planting or when leaves start to turn brown.
Sold as a combination of bulbs and individual cloves, by weight.
Cannot be sold into the Idaho and Oregon Allium quarantine zones. Counties include Ada, Bingham, Blaine, Boise, Bonneville, Canyon, Cassia, Elmore, Gem, Gooding, Jefferson, Jerome, Lincoln, Madison, Minidoka, Owyhee, Payette, Power, Twin Falls, and Washington in Idaho, and Malheur County in Oregon
